She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and earned a graduate Human Behavior Certificate from the Harvard Extension School. She specializes in addictive behaviors and domestic violence.

Dr. Foojan Zeine is an International Speaker, Author, Psychotherapist, and Clinical Supervisor. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr. Zeine earned a graduate Human Behavior certificate from the prestigious Harvard Extension School (HES). She offers her expertise to clients both online and in person at her San Clemente, California, office.
With a specialization in Intimate Relations and Addictive Behaviors, Dr. Zeine has extensive experience treating Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Domestic Violence. She is also a respected lecturer and professor, serving at California State University Long Beach, Université Paris Cité, and the Romanian Association of Integrative Psychotherapy. Dr. Zeine is the originator of the "Awareness Integration" Psychological and Educational Theory, a multi-modality, evidence-based approach that fosters mental health and well-being in clinical, educational, and self-help settings. She founded the International Awareness Integration Institute, offering training workshops for mental health professionals, educators, and coaches worldwide. Dr. Zeine has written six books and published over 20 peer-reviewed papers on the AIT approach. As the co-founder of Foojan, Inc., Dr. Zeine has developed the cost-effective self-help "foojan" app, promoting mental well-being globally through guided journaling and generative artificial intelligence, making the AIT approach accessible to all.
Dr. Zeine founded and served as CEO of My New Life, a licensed outpatient chemical dependency facility in Tarzana, California, from 2012-2015, which catered to the multicultural community recovering from substance and behavioral addictions recognized as one of the top 10 recovery programs in Los Angeles County.
