Presently in private practice working as a drug and alcohol counselor in the community of South Lake Tahoe, Richard Barna has been in the field of recovery since 1989. He earned his certification in 1994 and has been a LAADC since 2010. Barna has worked in many areas of the field including outpatient, residential, DUI programs, adolescents group homes, and the prison system. An Executive Director for adolescent’s facility and Program Director of a prison AOD program.
