$200Like everyone, LGBTQIA2+ people want health care and affirming work environments where they are welcome and respected. LGBTQIA2+ people generally experience higher rates of HIV infection, depression, suicidal behavior, homelessness, smoking, and substance use while facing barriers to access inclusive and affirming care. This course is a new 3-day training, which is intended for any organization in contact with LGBTQIA2+ individuals (including mental health and substance use disorder clinicians, HIV providers, state, local and county government employees, primary care providers, public health practitioners, prevention specialists, community based organizations, school teachers, and counselors).

Participants will receive information on how to complete registration to the online platform prior to the event.
This workshop helps all organizations, employees of all walks of life to improve their LGBTQIA2+ friendliness, education 101, terminology, and understanding the history and the lifestyle/cultural of the population.
- A LGBTQIA2+ Certificate will be issued once the full completion of the course on the last day.
- Must complete all 21 hours to get issued a CCAPP LGBTQIA2+ Certificate.
- No prerequisites. Anyone can take this course; you don’t have to be certified or licensed.
