David Likens

J. David Likens has over 20 years of leadership experience in academia, behavioral health, and law. David is currently an Assistant Professor of Human Services at Saddleback College. In addition, David has served as an Assistant Professor of Addictive Disorders at Oxnard College and held adjunct professor appointments at both Mt. San Antonio College and UCLA. David previously served as the Chief Executive Officer at numerous behavioral health organizations, including ABC Recovery Center, Ascension Treatment Centers, The Ranch at Dove Tree, and New Directions for Women. In addition to his work in behavioral health and academia, David previously served as the Executive Director of the California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators and a Partner in the law office of Jeong & Likens, L.C. David holds a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School, a Master of Social Welfare from UCLA’s Luskin School of Public Affairs, and a Master of Business Administration from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
