Kimberly Lindberg
Kimberly Lindberg serves as Director of Credentialing and Recovery Resources for the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), bringing more than 20 years of experience in the substance use disorder and recovery field. Since entering the field in 2002, she has held leadership roles spanning credentialing, business administration, human resources, fundraising and development, and recovery resources.
As a person in long-term recovery, Kimberly combines professional expertise with lived experience and a deep passion for strengthening the systems and resources that support recovery. She played an instrumental role in developing Certemy’s online application and certification process for recovery residences, helping align the process with national standards established by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR).
In 2024–2025, Kimberly served as an expert panelist for the Behavioral Health Bridge Housing Program with Advocates for Human Potential (AHP), contributing lived-experience expertise to efforts addressing the housing needs of people experiencing homelessness and serious behavioral health conditions.
Through her work at CCAPP, Kimberly remains committed to advancing quality, accountability, professional standards, and a stronger behavioral health and recovery workforce throughout California.
