Shivali Sharma is a fourth-year PsyD candidate in clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant University, where her work focuses on veteran mental health and trauma-informed care. She brings her experience from the United States Marine Corps to that focus, particularly in her attention to moral injury and co-occurring substance use among veterans. She is completing a clinical practicum at LifeMoves, a supportive housing services organization, where she provides individual therapy and case management to adults living in supportive and interim housing.
