Identifying & Treating Barriers in Specialty Populations

Goal of the Workshop
To provide specific information with regard to assessing special needs and placing in treatment specialty clients. The areas of focus will be, Intellectual Disability; Methadone/Suboxone; Pregnant Women; Medically compromised; Financial hardship/family; Sex offenders.

BIO: Debbie has 20 years of experience in corporate management and financial analysis and construction contracting. Her current profession for the past 16 years to provide treatment services to substance addicted people and their families in Fresno County. She is the president and owner of Assessment, Training & Research Associates (ATR), a forensic assessment entity for criminal, family, and dependency courts; a continuing education provider for the Board of Behavioral Science (BBS), State of California substance abuse certification organizations, CCAPP, CAADE, and the California State Bar. ATR is entrusted with providing assessment services and treatment recommendations for criminal court defendants, family court recipients,
and dependency court recipients throughout Fresno County. Debbie is the Executive Director of Central California Recovery (CCR), a California nonprofit corporation, providing outpatient substance abuse treatment services to adolescent and adult male and female clients dealing with addiction.
