Speaker Details

Ms. Mitchell is dedicated to securing the political, educational, economic and equality of rights of those marginalized by addiction, trauma and incarceration. She is currently working for Amity Foundation and serves as a regional director of the “Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment” program within the California Department of Corrections. Ms. Mitchell has long been actively engaged in social justice and community betterment efforts with the NAACP and other civic organizations in Monterey County.
