Employers who are paying for multiple registrations can make arrangements with accounting at [email protected]. You will receive a code for each user to register with after making a payment. Employers will need to provide the name and email of each person being paid for by the employer. Initial Qualification: The two days of training will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the revised DOT alcohol and drug testing procedures and clearly define the role of responsibilities of the Substance Abuse Professional. Re-Qualification: The two days of training can be used as a re-qualification course for the individual who is already a certified SAP. This course meets the DOT/SAP re-qualification criteria for the 12 contact hours. In order to qualify as a SAP, individuals must meet the following requirements. Must meet one of the following required current licenses or certifications you hold: □ You are a licensed physician (Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy). □ You are a licensed or certified social worker. □ You are a licensed or certified psychologist. □ You are a licensed or certified employee assistance professional. □ You are a state-licensed or certified marriage and family therapist. □ You are a drug and alcohol counselor certified by one of the following: the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors Certification Commission (NAADAC), the International Certification Reciprocity Consortium/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (ICRC), or the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. (NBCC) and Affiliates/Master Addictions Counselor . Applicants must also adhere to the following procedures: ● Take the Substance Abuse Professional’s U.S. DOT Alcohol and Drug Testing Regulation Qualification Course ● Complete the examination and receive a passing grade. (Requalification participants are not required to take the examination.) Pre-registration is $200 for CCAPP members and $350 for non-CCAPP members if registered by July 26, 2019. The fee after July 26, 2019 is $300.00 for CCAPP members and $400.00 for non-members. Registration includes the full training and booklet. Training registration does not include the exam. Checks for the training are to be payable to CCAPP (California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals) and must be paid in advance. Cut-off for registration is August 5, 2019.
